Data Engineer

• Develop and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines to ingest large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into the Data Warehouse.

• Manage and optimize data infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance.

• Optimize existing data workflows, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Implement best practices for monitoring, alerting, and maintaining production data systems.

• Design and implement data models optimized for analytics and BI tools.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer in modern data environments.

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for pipeline development and data modeling.

• Experience working with ELT / ETL processes from different sources.

• Experience using dbt for data modeling. 

• Experience working in cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS or Azure), preferably Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow or Prefect.

• Strong knowledge of code management, version control with Git, testing, and CI/CD practices.

• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema, and galaxy schema).

• Experience working with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes on GCP for deploying and managing data-related services.

• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker or Terraform.

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

• Experience developing data ingestion pipelines in Python using dlt (data load tool)

• Interest in Machine Learning or AI projects.
